Art Valentz owner

Art Valentz | Owner

Art Valentz, owner and visionary behind PHP Systems/Design, has over 24 years of research, design, testing, and implementation experience. During his tenure with a steel company that manufactured piping for nuclear power plants, Art developed an interest in the thermal expansion of piping and saw first-hand, the harmful effects of traditional piping supports on rooftop surfaces. His experience served as the foundation for PHP Systems/Design, and now offers roof pipe and equipment support systems that are preferred by many companies, including Disney, Lockheed, Target, and Tyson Foods.

Art and his wife, Lynn, founded PHP Systems/Design in 1992 with the determination to change the way roof support systems performed. This vision led Art and a team of experts to develop a system that does not require penetrations for installation, thereby preserving the integrity of the roofing system. Art is also well known for engineering the first ever polypropylene base, to providing increased management of support for piping and equipment, thus changing the roofing industry forever.

In addition to managing PHP, Art works with American Trades Solutions and is an active member of several professional organizations. He also supports several charities, including the SPCA, Wounded Warriors, Shriners, and St. Jude’s. When he’s not partaking in PHP responsibilities or humanitarian efforts, Art enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, photography, fishing, and vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Lynn Valentz | Owner

Lynn Valentz, Co-Owner of PHP Systems/Design, has over 20 plus years of experience with rooftop pipe and equipment supports. She is responsible for the management and development of the company’s accounting, marketing, and forward momentum. Lynn is the driving force behind the company’s future endeavors and provides the ideas and guidance that have established PHP as an industry leader.

Lynn foresees PHP expanding its usability and reaching even more customers over the next decade. When she isn’t immersed in accounting and marketing for the company, Lynn enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dog.
