Product information

The SS8 w/ Channel Low Profile-model non-adjustable pipe supports are designed to support electrical conduit, condensate drain lines or small refrigeration lines up to 2 ½” OD, set at 3 ½” above the roof surface.

PHP System/Design

SS8-CL Installation
New Pipe
  1. Layout isolation pads, (provided by contractor), according to the design and layout.
  2. Layout SS8-CL supports per spacing specifications or PHP layout.
  3. Run pipe on channel.
  4. Clamp down with channel clamp, (provided by contractor).
Retro-fit
  1. Lift pipe, (enough to remove existing support).
  2. Clean area where new support is to be placed.
  3. Place ISO pad, (provided by contractor).
  4. Put SS8-CL support on pad.
  5. Lower pipe onto channel.
  6. Clamp down with channel clamp, (provided by contractor).
